CALS table with merged cells not rendering properly in PDF

Post by sweetsweetstefan »

Hi there! Has anyone seen this particular behaviour, where a CALS table with merged cells is missing a bottom frame for one column if the merged cell splits across a page break when transformed to PDF? I've experimented with a couple of changes, but the problem still arises. I've attached a screenshot to illustrate the problem. Is this expected behaviour?

Thanks!

Hello,

Indeed this is an expected behavior, this way it shows that the cell continues in the next pages.
If you want to override this behavior, you can check the how to display borders on a split cell topic from our user-guide.
You will need a custom CSS style-sheet in order to do that.
