CF Web Author vs Author as Reviewer
Hi All,
We're currently testing out the trial version of ContentFusion to replace our current collaboration infrastructure. It looks really awesome so far, our tech writers like it as well but a question came up regarding the workflow of the Reviewer.
In the available webinars on YouTube we've seen an example workflow in which the Author uses Oxygen Author to define tasks and the Reviewers use Oxygen Web Author to review assigned tasks.
Could the Reviewer also use the desktop version of Oxygen Author to review tasks or is the Reviewer constrained to Web Author only?

Hello,
The reviewer can open the review task only in the web interface. Do you have a workflow in which technical writers review each other's changes? In such cases usually they can use the facilities offered by the CMS or by Git to perform the review - for example creating a review branch in Git and letting the other technical writer add comments and commit on that branch.
Best,
Cristian
