The table stylesheet is sluggish in Oxygen Web Author!

Post by mu258770 »

Hi team,

We observed that the table style CSS in Oxygen Web Author is not so proper in Author mode. We are using Oxygen Web Author 22.1.

When we have a big table with lots of columns (including merged columns), then the column width is not properly distributed in Web Author. The UI is proper in Eclipse Oxygen and standalone Oxygen Author mode.

Could you please tell me if there is a way to improve the Web Author CSS styling for tables. We need it to be in sync with standalone Oxygen or Eclipse Oxygen. I can't attach any screenshot or the sample topic here as there is no option for it.

Hi,

We recently (in Web Author version 23.1) fixed a problem regarding the table layout when using proportional widths and there are cells that spans over multiple columns. If it is possible, please try to use Web Author 23.1 to see if the problem still reproduces.

You can also send us some screenshots and a sample file. You can add attachments when you post a message here (there is an "Attachments" tab under the post message buttons) or you can send them in an email to support@oxygenxml.com.

Best Regards,

Hi,

We received your sample topic and we can confirm that we already added a fix for this table layout problem in version 23.1.
