1.2.2 freebie fails to appear on win200

A cheek I know but I wanted to try version 1.2.2 as supplied on a cover disc (PCPro) received this week. I ran the installation and copied the license.key file to the relevant location. I restarted the PC (windows 2000 Professional) and launched the .exe. I got a splash screen and then nothing else. Task Manager tells me that oxygen.exe is running and occupying a chunk of memory, but I have no GUI

Java -version yields 1.4.0-b92

is this something simple to solve?

First you may try to start oXygen using JDK 1.4.2. If it is not working please contact us on support@oxygenxml.com in order to send you information about how to configure the log properties.
