Show image preview in DITA Reusable Components

Hello,

We have a large number of image resources that we reference using a conkeyref. The reason we use a conkeyref instead of a keyref is so that referenced images can also have alt text associated with the image.

It would be really helpful if a preview of the image could be visible in the Components tab of the DITA Reusable Components view, similar to what is seen in the Media tab.

Hi Jonathan,

Makes sense, I added an internal issue "EXM-46685 - Show preview in Components tab for reusable DITA images", we'll update this forum thread if it gets implemented in a future release.
An alternative to showing the image next to each component, if we come to the conclusion that it may pe processor intensive might be to show the image in the tooltip when hovering over the component.
