Provide a dockable Profiling Conditions view
Post by chrispitude »
Some of our books require heavy conditionalization during authoring. For these books, it would be great to have a Profiling Conditions view that is selectable from the View menu, and can be organized and docked like the other views.
Bonus points for allowing the user to reorder the top-level expandable/collapsible groups to put their favorite groups at the top, and have this be remembered in the user-level preferences!

Re: Provide a dockable Profiling Conditions view
Hi Chris,
Thanks for the improvement request, we already have an issue with ID EXM-29844 registered for this, I added your suggestions to it.
If we implement it in a future version I will update this forum thread.
Regards,
Radu

If possible, it would also be useful to hotlink this Profiling Conditions view to the DITA Maps Manager view as well.

Hi Chris,
You mean that when changing selection in the DITA Maps Manager view the side view could show the current profiling attributes set on the current selected topicref? Right, that would be useful, I added your idea on the opened issue. The issue ID is EXM-29844 "Edit Profiling Attributes" - implement as side view".
