Generating the alias file (alias.h) and map file (context.h)

Hi,

Is it possible to generate the alias (alias.h) and map file (context.h) from DocBook XML files using one of the defined transformation scenarios in Oxigen Author?

Hi Olga,

By default Oxygen does not come with pre-configured transformation scenarios for DocBook to HTML Help, but the XSLT stylesheet is present in:

OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR/frameworks/docbook/xsl/htmlhelp/htmlhelp.xsl

So you could try to create a new XSLT transformation scenario in Oxygen with the XML and the stylesheet.
We are not very familiar with the DocBook to HTMLHelp generation because we have not used it for quite some time.
There seems to be some documentation on the DocBook documentation site about HTML Help, some of it related to the generation of the alias files:
