Tear-off results pane?

Hi,

I noticed that all extra information panes can be teared off the main screen and plaed elsewhere on the screen(s). Great!

But the one I would like to see not in my main screen can't: The results display that appears at the bottom of the screen (where for instance validation errors and serach results are listed).

Is there a reason why this is so and any chance this window becomes floating too?

Hello,

Indeed, moving the results around in oXygen is not currently possible.
The result position was intentionally kept fixed, for visibility concerns.
That's because some users could move or even hide the view by mistake and therefore would not have been able to find it anymore.

However, we consider your request, thus I have already logged this as an improvement on our issue tracking system. It will be analyzed by the development team for a possible implementation in a future version of oXygen, if found appropriate.

As an update we released Oxygen 22.1 which allows you to dock the Results view in any place of the user's interface you want.
