on insert of an image i need to show a custom swing to add more properties to image

Hi team ,

we have a requirement where we need to listen a user try to adds an image to xml document, and allows them to edit or some more options by shown a swing component where choose for more options and then insert the image?

is there any listener API available and example to look in?

Hi,

How exactly does the end user insert an image reference in the XML document? What type of XML vocabulary are you customizing? Is it a vocabulary for which Oxygen already has support like DITA, HTML or DocBook or a custom one?
Why don't you add a custom toolbar action so that all end users would use your action to add the image?
