Limit number of history entries, including == 0
Possibly slightly related to this forum issue:
post37507.html?hilit=history#p37507
I'd enjoy the ability to limit the number of entries retained in any and all history lists. That would include the ability to specify the total number of history entries == 0 (zero).
I have by virtue of regular performance acquired the now-reflexive set of hand motions required to clear this history of most recently used files, most recently used DITAMAPs, et cetera. That includes the extra hand motions required to confirm that, yes, I do indeed want to clear said history.
I'd much prefer that I could limit the number of entries in a given history to a maximum number of entries. For example, entries > 5 or so invariably cease to be of interest to me. (That number will of course be different for different users...) And if an expired history entry has again become of interest to me, it's easier to me to just open it from the Project view rather than hunt for it in a lengthy list of history entries...
Cheers & hope this helps,
Riley

Hi,
I've logged a feature request on our issue tracking tool. For future reference it is issue EXM-45531.
Regards,
Adrian

Someone specifically requested that confirmation because he accidentally cleared the history. That includes the extra hand motions required to confirm that, yes, I do indeed want to clear said history.
