Add Bookmarks capability to projects?

I think it would be handy to be able to bookmark certain files and resources used in a particular project. There are certain files and external resources -- for example, specific oXygen XML online help topics, DITA-OT resource files, web sites that explain how to perform certain tasks, and the like -- that I'd like to be able to quickly access while working with a particular project.

I've been using a combination of oXygen's Scratch Buffer and external note programs to manage those oft-referenced project resources. Providing a bookmarks capability that can provide quick access to specific files and external resources would make things very much easier...

Hi Riley,

We do have support to add bookmarks to opened XML documents:

https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... _bookmarks

and then to navigate to those bookmarks.
But you seem to want some kind of Bookmarks view where besides references to XML topics you could refer to web links or other useful resources. Interesting, I added your suggestions to an existing internal issue which will explore the creation of a bookmarks side view. This might also be an interesting idea for an Oxygen plugin.

Thanks Radu. BUT -- wrong sort of bookmark.

I want to be able to quickly return to a particular project or external resource. Essentially the same way that web browser bookmarks work.

Most recently I had to click-click-click my way to file:/home/rbv/oXygenProjects/dita-ot-3.4.1/docsrc/samples/properties/sequence-html5.properties. I'd like very much to be able to add a bookmark to that file.

Similarly, there are oXygen XML online help (OLH) topics that i don't want to add to my browser bookmarks but rather add to a given oXygen XML project. Which is to say that certain OLH topics are most useful within the context of a particular project.
