Collapse and expand individual sections in topic

Post by mdslup »

Is there a way to collapse and expand individual sections within a topic? I know there is a way to do this for *all* sections at once, but can it be done individually? Additionally, how can I set the default behavior so that all sections begin as collapsed? I want the user to see all collections as collapsed by default, then expand them individually as needed.

Hi Mark,

Please provide more details on the 1st request.

As for the additional request, there is the "webhelp.topic.collapsible.elements.initial.state" parameter, that you could use and set it's value to "collapsed". By default, the sections are expanded.

Best Regards,

I really want to be able to collapse and expand individual sections, instead of all at once. So I want each section to have its own collapse/expand button. Here's a diagram: https://i.imgur.com/6GgSSNo.jpg

Hi Mark,

As you can see on our online documentation, there you are able to collapse and expand individual sections:
