Manage related links that are outside the map

Hi，
I have a root map that contains multiple submaps.
For some topics, I inserted related topics that are outside the map.

If I generate PDF file for a submap, there would be a problem that the related topics that are outside the map have no links in the PDF.

I wonder is there any way to fix the problem.
Or, how should I manage the related links that are outside the map?

DITA-OT has trouble resolving references that are outside the directory where the published DITA map is found. For more details please check this topic from our user manual:
