Is there a Macro Recording for Repeated Tasks???

HI All,
I have a following Tag Structure:
<step>
<cmd>XXXXX</cmd>
<info>
<fig><Title></title></fig>
</Info>
</step>

I repeat above Tag Structure 100s of times. Is there a easier way???
Is there a way to automate this tasks by creating & running the Macros or Scripts?
