Cannot integration schematrons in framework
Hi,
I'm new at schematron configuration.
My team already has a few schematron files that are currently separate from our custom_frameworks. I wanted to add them to our custom_frameworks so that everything is in the same place.
I followed the steps here: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... ework.html
And then I followed theese steps for associating the schema through a validation scenario: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... nario.html
The schematron rules still aren't appearing in my topics though, even though I checked and the dita_-_extension.framework file got updated and now include the schematron files.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Katelyn

Re: Cannot integration schematrons in framework
Hi Katelyn,
Did you add a new validation scenario or a new stage in the default "DITA" validation scenario? If you did the former did you check your validation scenario (there is a checkbox next to it) so that it is a default used validation scenario?
In the Oxygen main menu "Window->Show View" you can choose to show the "Properties" view. Then open one of your topics and you'll see in the Properties view if it matches your custom DITA document type association. If it does not match your custom DITA framework you may want to edit the custom DITA framework and look at its priority settings and at its association rules.
There is also a side view called "Information" which every time you validate should give you details about what scenarios are used for validation.
If all else fails you can try to send us (support@oxygenxml.com) your custom framework and we can take a look at it.
Regards,
Radu
