Formatting for Index

Post by MyMoon »

Hi!
Please tell me which CSS code is responsible for font attributes for Index items - leading letter, indexterm and referred page number.

Thanks,
Dmitry

Hello,

To find the CSS rules applied for an element in the WebHelp Responsive output you could use CSS inspector from any modern browser.
More information can be found in our user-manual: Using CSS Inspector to Identify Content for Custom CSS File.

Hi Ionela!
Thanks for reply.
My target is PDF, so I cannot follow your advice. I tried just now to feed WebHelp Responsive engine with my ditamap, and got 704 messages that something is wrong...

If you are using the PDF CSS based on HTML, in the output folder you will find a HTML file representing the merged map. You can open it in a browser (Chrome for instance) and use the browser development tools to inspect the elements and styles.

Please read: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... e_css.html

Many regards,
