Autocorrect not Working for New Items Added to List

A few users on my team have an issue with autocorrect. Whenever we go to Options>Preferences>Editor>Author>Autocorrect, if we add a new item to the list, autocorrect doesn't work for the new item. For instance, I have "Onboard" under Replace, and "OnBoard" under With. But if I type Onboard, it's not replaced with OnBoard. The original items on the list work correctly, however. Is this a bug, or is there something we need to do/configure to make autocorrect for items that we add to the autocorrect list? My team is on Oxygen 17.1.

Hello,

I just tried your scenario on a 17.1, and it worked perfectly for me. Please make sure you edit the right table (for the right language). So, if you have xml:lang=en_GB, you should edit the English (United Kingdom) table, not English (generic).

Thank you! That was the issue. It was set to English (generic) instead of English (United States).
