Unwanted space between lines getting in the editor

Hi Support Team,

In Oxygen XML web author, we are getting unwanted space between list items and makes the content look ugly.
When checked using Chrome Developer tools, we identified that span tag is bringing that unwanted space.
If we remove the span tag, unwanted space is removed.
Is it possible to customize the CSS to remove that span tag? If yes, please let us know which file we should edit.

In order to help us investigate and find a solution for your problem, could you please send us a sample file and the CSS you are using (or the entire framework)?
