Prolog not Displayed in Author View

Post by Eddie »

Hello,
Apologies if I'm missing something basic here, but...
I've just installed (and re-installed) Author V20.1.
The files I am editing have a prolog. This is displayed in Text view but not in Author view.
Is there a new display setting that I am missing?
I still have V20 installed and the prologs display as usual in Author view in there.

Cheers,
Eddie.

Hello Eddie,

In 20.1, if you go to the Styles button from the Author toolbar, do you, by any chance, have the "+ Hide prolog" item selected? If yes, try deselecting it.

All the best wishes,

Hello,

It is indeed selected. Although how it got selected, I have no idea. I didn't know it had been added in 20.1.
Is there a shortcut key that I could have hit by accident? (I can't find one in the list of menu shortcut keys.)

Anyway, thanks very much for the information.

Hi Eddie,

No, there isn't any shortcut, and the item shouldn't be selected by default. Pretty weird... Let us know if this happens again.
