Transforming in 19 with map/files that were edited in 20
Hi.
I have a project that I was working on in my Editor 19.1. I had a family tragedy and was out of the office for a few days and other people had to help out with it for me - they were using Author 20. I can't tell what could possibly be different with the files, but I can't understand what is happening when I try to transform.
Oxygen says the transformation was successful, but the output is missing the topics folder and all of its topics, as well as the images folder. So essentially only a broken landing page is there. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?
(I tested another map/project to make sure something wasn't wrong with my DITA-OT and it compiles fine.)
Thank you so much for your help,
Kim

Re: Transforming in 19 with map/files that were edited in 20
Hi Kim,
I’m really sorry to hear that.
The first thing you should try to debug this issue is to run the Validate and Check for Completeness action on the DITA Map (on the machine where this publishing problem happens). Make sure that 'Report references to resources outside of the DITA map folder' option is checked.
This way, you can see if there are any references located outside of the DITA Map folder as this may lead to some issues at publishing.
Regards,
Ionela

Thanks, Ionela- that really helped. They had added another submap that had 75+ errors and removing it temporarily allowed me to quickly publish. Thanks again for your help
