Converting DITA Document Type with Refactoring

Post by thedantanner »

Came across a minor bug when converting a Task to a Concept (or any other type of conversion) using XML Refactoring. The document type changes as-advertised, but for some reason the Title element becomes invalid for the new document type. It's simple enough to work around: Just delete the title and insert a new one. Just thought I'd let someone know.

Would be nice if a future release addressed this little bug.

Cheers,

Hi Dan,

I do not quite understand how this problem manifests. The <title> element has the same name both for the task and the concept and I cannot reproduce the problem on my side.
Could you possibly give us some before/after screenshots showing the error that Oxygen reports? Maybe also a sample DITA task to work with on our side... you can contact us directly using support@oxygenxml.com.

Regards,
Radu

Sorry I never got back to you on this. I discovered that it's not an Oxygen problem, it's something on my end.
