oxygen always wants to have license key entered again
Hi,
we purchased an academic key that's licensed for 5 users. With 4 users we have no problems, but at 1 user we have to re-enter the key nearly every week on his computer. The computer is a notebook running Windows 7 64bit and isn't always connected to the internet on startup.
Expected behavior:
We enter the license key the first time we start oxygen. The key is getting stored, so we don't have to re-enter it every X times we start oxygen.
Which mistakes could cause our experienced behavior and how can we avoid it?

Re: oxygen always wants to have license key entered again
Hello,
The license key is stored in the Oxygen preferences folder from the user profile. For Windows 7 that's:
If the user profile is local it's: If the profile is roaming, this will probably be synchronized to a Windows server.
My guess is the Roaming part of the user profile either gets wiped or it gets synchronized to a Windows server. Check with your system administrator.
Regards,
Adrian

Code: Select all
%APPDATA%\com.oxygenxml

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\com.oxygenxml
