Applying Condition Set to WebHelp Output Still Pulls Excluded Content in Search

Post by vinny604 »

Hi,

I've started experimenting with the profiling/conditional build feature in OxygenXML, and plan on using the product attribute mostly (e.g., product A and product B). The process of marking topic refs, elements, etc. with different profiling attributes is fairly straightforward.

However, when testing the webhelp output, I notice that keyword searches still bring up topics that I thought were excluded in my applied condition set. It this because OxygenXML simply just overwrites the existing output folder which wasn't cleared of older content, and therefore the search is pulling up older content from a previous transformation?

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, it could be. The WebHelp search indexer is working on the output folder.

You can use the clean.output parameter to specify whether or not to clean the output directory before each build.
