Subsequent completeness checks report errors that have been fixed

Post by cbrzeski »

How does one clear the results of a map completeness check? When I run the tool, then fix the errors, and run it a second time to see if I got everything, I get the same results as the first run. It shows errors for things that have been fixed. When I open those topics, they do not contain the errors reported in the completeness check. I've tried refreshing the map (F5), as well exiting and restarting Oxygen. It still remembers previous errors.

The help topic about DITA Map Validation and Completeness Check explains in detail the different settings, but I can't find any information about a cache or subsequent runs.

Thanks

Hi Corinne,

You are running the validate and check for completeness against content from a CMS, right?
The CMS has a connector plugin installed in Oxygen and that plugin ends up being asked by Oxygen for the content of each resource. If the plugin caches access to the resource via some temporary file, it may return an older version of the content. So please try to address this question to the CMS vendors. Or at least look in the CMS provided main menus, maybe you can find actions to reset the local cache.
