O18.1, LegacyPDF and fonts

Post by kmank »

I am looking for a method to modify fonts within legacyPDF transformations that doesn't require modifying any files within the frameworks subfolders.

I currently have the args.xsl.pdf pointed to a customized dita2fo-shell.xsl file. That successfully modifies all sections of the resulting PDF doc, but I cannot get the font modifications to take.

If I can avoid modifying the font-mappings or commons-attr files, that would be optimal. The idea is to use the "out of the box" frameworks and point to my customization files in the scenario.

Any ideas?

Hi,

We have not worked with the legacy PDF transtype at all in the last 3-4 years. I do not remember it allowing the possibility to have a customization folder (like the current PDF transtype does).
Maybe a better idea would be to copy the entire legacy PDF plugin contents and make your own custom plugin with a custom transtype from its contents.
