Problems setting params in XSLT debugger

Recently, I've found that I'm having trouble setting parameters in the XSLT debugger (Oxygen 18.1 Editor/Enterprise/Macos 10.12). The debugger fails with "A value must be specified for parameter $config because there is no default value for the required type". However, I'm definitely setting this parameter. Any suggestions?

Please ignore - stupid mistake just noticed. Will send a new screenshot when I get a real instance of the problem
