XML Refactoring produces inconsistent End of Line (EOL) style

Post by Anonymous1 »

Hi,

our SVN only allows to commit files with consistent end of line styles. Normally, this is the Windows EOL.

When I use the XML Refactoring tool, I can't commit the changed files anymore afterwards. This is because it seems that the tool adds inconsistent line endings to our XML files.

Can somebody confirm this? I think this is a bug.

Best regards

Hi,

What version and build of Oxygen are you using (Help >About)?
On what platform are you running Oxygen (Windows/Linux/Mac)?

What "XML Refactoring" operation did you use on the file(s) in question?

Oxygen Editor 18.1 (colleague tested on Author 18.1, same bug)
Build 2016112217
Windows 10
I changed attribute values and deleted attributes.

Hello,

We have reproduced the issue on our side. Currently we are working to fix this problem.
You will be notified when a fix is available.

As an workaround, open the XML files in editor and then apply the refactoring operation.
