Suppressing unresolved xrefs in output

Post by montims »

Is there a way to do this for PDF or Help outputs or would this need to be a customization? To clarify, if an xref is unresolved (destination topic is not in bookmap), remove from output.

Hello,

There is no out of the box setting that would enable such a behavior in the WebHelp or the PDF transfromation.
Theoretically you can achieve this through a DITA-OT customization. You can post this topic on the DITA comunity mailing list: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/dita-users/info

However, if you want to identify and correct the broken links from the DITA sources you can use the "Validate and check for completeness" action.
