Mac system windows quickly lose focus

I've recently hit a problem running build 2016081012 on a Mac Pro under OS 10.11.6. Focus is lost from any system window (open save etc.) after a second or so. This may have started after updating Java to 1.8.0_65, JRE build 1.8.0_65-b17,HotSpot 64-Bit Server VM build 25.65-b01, mixed mode.

Using the python script recommended at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/54 ... 0&tstart=0 indicates that no other app is stealing the focus: it's oXygen.

Please send us a report, Help > Report Problem, so we can see more system details.

Does the problem affect only the Open/Save dialogs from Oxygen, or from any other app?
In what state is Oxygen when that happens (running something, minimized, etc)?

Yes I was, and disabling it immediately and permanently cleared the problem. Pity: Witch is a good application/window switching app, but I'll live without it.
