Populating DITA attribute Filtering lists
Hello,
In XMLmind (a tool I am far more familiar with) it is possible to define the range of values for filtering attributes (audience, component, etc) *outside* of the schema and have the authoring tool load a different set of options when they switch between projects. This is an important feature for us, since we have many, many different products and projects and don't want to (a) force our authors to manually type values into the interface or (b) be confronted with the full company-wide range of options when selecting from a pick list. Is there a comparable feature available in Oxygen?
Thanks,
Jeff.

Re: Populating DITA attribute Filtering lists
Hi Jeff,
Actually we have a blog post about controlled attribute values when using DITA:
http://blog.oxygenxml.com/2015/07/contr ... -your.html
Besides using a subject scheme map, you can also define controlled attribute values in the Preferences->Editor / Edit modes / Author / Profiling/Conditional Text page and switch that page to Project options (radio button at the bottom of the page), then distribute the "project.xpr" and have each author load the project in the Oxygen Project view before they start editing.
Regards,
Radu
