HTML5 <main> element support?

Any chance we might see support for the HTML5 <main> element - https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc ... ement/main in a future update?

Hi Bryan,

Thanks for the request. we'll consider adding support for it in Oxygen 16.0 (summer of 2014).
Validation and content completion for HTML 5 in Oxygen is done using a Relax NG Compact schema located here:

OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR\frameworks\xhtml\xhtml5 (epub3)\epub-xhtml-30.rnc

so it will need to be modified to also allow for <main> as a possible element.

Just to update this thread, Oxygen 17.1 should allow validating XHTML 5 documents which contain <main> elements.
