how to set absolute paths for conrefs

I'm using the "Reuse Content" dialog box to create content references and need to know how to make the path in the Reference to (conref) field absolute. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Amber,

This is quite an unusual request. Could you give me more details about why you want to do this?
Relative paths are more easy to manage are more robust to changes (like moving your entire project to another folder).
We have no setting for this. We do have Java-based API which would allow you to do this via an Oxygen plugin.

I've never seen this before either, but the CMS my client is using requires absolute paths on all references for the publishing to work.

Hi Amber,

Could you tell me what that CMS is? Maybe it has a special connector for Oxygen.
How exactly does Oxygen work with the CMS, does it access resources via WebDav or do you check out resources locally and edit them there?
