Sample Project

I reached the forum a bit and couldn't find anything directly on point. Is there a way to close the sample project that comes installed by default in Oxygen 17.1 XML Editor? I could not find any menu option, button etc allowing me to do this. It seems like it should be fairly straightforward. My apologies if I'm missing something simple or obvious.

Hi,

Oxygen is project centric and a lot of its features depend on it. A lot of operations use the project content as scope. Also, by default scenarios are saved in the project options. As a result, you cannot close the current project. You can create a new project from menu > Project > New Project.
Note that if you have already created some scenarios, they will remain with the old project. If that's the case and you already have scenarios that you need, instead of creating a new project, save the sample project next to your working files (menu > Project > Save Project As) and remove the links to the sample resources from the Project view.
