Color of left margin

Why is the Oxygen left margin background color white, when all the other Eclipse editors are gray? Is there any way to change this?

(By "left margin" I mean the margin that is used to display bookmarks, breakpoints, etc.)

Hello,

For example for a Java editor only half of the left margin is grey and the other half is white. When all the margin of <oXygen/> editors is white the contrast with the folding markers make the markers more visible.
