Could not open in mode 'Schema'

Hello,

I have just gotten Oxygen installed after getting a new PC and when I try to open a .xsd file it is giving me the error "Could not open the document in mode 'Schema': Content is not allowed in prolog. Opening in text mode." I did not get this when I opened it last in an older version, I am not sure what the error means and how to fix it.

Please advise.

Hello,

This error means that there is text before the first XML tag in the file. Or there could be a file encoding detection issue...
Does oXygen manage to open the schema in the Text editing mode? Is the schema valid?
