Cannot remove when track changes is on
Post by sevforeman »
Oxygen 16.2 Eclipse Plugin
My colleagues have discovered that when Track Changes is on in a DITA topic, they cannot select and delete the element and a few others. The following is an excerpt from an email that describe the problem.
Once track changes is turned on, the would not go, indeed I surrounded the text and the with <guicontrol>, and then it had the cheek to tell me that was an illegal construct. So definitely the does not delete with change bars on. So to me that is a bug. [...] I have found a workaround. You turn off track changes momentarily, delete the , then turn it back on again.
Regards,
Severin

Hello,
In case I haven't fully understood the situation, can you please ask you colleague to send us on support@oxygenxml.com a small XML sample together with a step by step procedure to reproduce the situation?
Best regards,
Alex
You should be able to select them but when you press Delete the elements wont disappear but instead they will be rendered strike-through. A reviewer will have to accept this change afterwards (from the contextual menu select Accept change(s)) and the element will disappear. This is the intended behavior.they cannot select and delete the element and a few others.
