Tiling in Oxygen 17
Post by ToddStupnik »
My information development group is using Oxygen 17 with a content management system, both accessed through Remote Desktop; I've noticed peculiar behavior with Oxygen 17 where extracting topics from the CMS to Oxygen causes the following:
1.) in the DITA Maps Manager: if multiple maps are open, each map is tiled rather than just the map's tab appearing.
2.) in the Author view: if multiple topics are open, each topic is tiled, rather than the topic's tab appearing.
While I can use an oxygen menu option (Window/Stack Tiles...) to resolve the topics tiling, I haven't discovered a menu option that will resolve the maps. You can attempt to drag/drop each map, but that behavior is unreliable. I'm trying to determine why this occurs, and how to resolve this.
Thanks,
Todd

Re: Tiling in Oxygen 17
Dear Todd,
We also noticed such an issue in certain cases in which Oxygen was instructed to open at startup XML documents that it originally did not have opened when it was originally closed.
We fixed this issue and the fix was made available in the latest Oxygen 17.0 kits available on our web site:
http://www.oxygenxml.com/build_history.html#2015052917
About stacking the editors, you can also use the Window->Reset Layout action which resets also the view and toolbar layouts.
Regards,
Radu

The latest Oxygen build ID is 2015052917, you can check in the Help->About dialog if you are running it and if not you can re-download Oxygen from our web site.Editors layout: If the editors layout became out-of-sync with the list of editors to be loaded, all editors were presented as tiled.
About stacking the editors, you can also use the Window->Reset Layout action which resets also the view and toolbar layouts.
