Webhelp showing /temp files in search
Post by ashleybrown415 »
Hello,
On our help site, when you use the built-in search, topics often display twice. For example, try searching "Importing." You get both #Marketing/Profiles/uploading-profiles-bulk.html & #temp/webhelp/Desktop/localytics-docs/Marketing/Profiles/uploading-profiles-bulk.html
It looks like the /temp file built by the transform is showing up along with the standard topic I'd expect from the TOC. How can I suppress the /temp files from showing up in search and being available on the site?
Thanks!
Ashley

Hello,
Did you modify the default values for the temporary directory and output directory in the WebHelp transformation? You can see these values on the Output tab of the dialog box for editing a DITA transformation.
I think including any temporary files (that is files located in the temp directory of the WebHelp transformation) in the search results would be possible only if the temp directory could be a sub-directory of the output directory. The search results are always reported on the WebHelp pages from the output directory.
