Adding multiple files to logical folder in project

Post by rhiannonppl »

I'm very new to the whole Project system so I might be doing something wrong! I'm trying to add a bunch of files to a new logical folder in a new project. But when I right-click on the logical folder and choose Add Files, the dialog only allows me to pick a single file. How can I select multiple files? I have about sixty (I want to do a batch transform) so it's going to be a pain to add them one by one. They're all in the same 'real' directory, so I ought to be able to select them all at once.

I'm using Oxygen 17 on OS X Yosemite (10.10.3). Is there any way of adding multiple files at once?

Hello,

This is a limitation of the file chooser dialog box given by Java 6.
Other ways to achieve same result would be to open a separate Finder window, select all the files of interest and do one of the following:
  • Use Copy action, then Paste on the logical folder in the Project view;
  • Drag the files from the Finder window and drop them over the logical folder in the Project view.
Best regards,
