Find to End button grayed out

One of our customers is complaining that the Find to End button in the Find/Replace menu is grayed out and never available. It was suggested that our plugins might be the problem. However, I installed a fresh copy of Oxygen 17 with no customizations installed and get the same behaviour. How is this button supposed to work and when is it enabled? Thanks

Hi Deanna,

We don't have a Find to End button in Oxygen.
We do have a Find all button in the Find/Replace dialog. Are you referring to it?
The button should be always enabled in the standalone version of Oxygen and always disabled in the Author Component because the component does not have a results view in which all matches could be shown.

Hi Deanna,

Ok, I understand now. Indeed the "Replace to end" is disabled for the Author editing mode (works only in the Text editing mode). Honestly I do not remember anymore why we disabled it for the Author editing mode, I will add an issue for this, possibly remove this limitation in a future version.

Just to update this thread, the "Replace to end" should work in the 17.1 Author Component.
