Resizeable window of Find/Replace in Files Operation in Prog

Post by tatra603 »

Hello,

can I ask You to enable resizing the window "Find/Replace in Files – Operation in Progress"? I want to know FULL PATH of currently processed file to be able to estimate current progress of scanned directory.

Thank You, Stepan

Hi,

I've logged your request.

Having a deterministic progress dialog would have been better, but I'm being told it's been done like this purposefully to avoid creating the list of files at the beginning (saves time and memory). It simply lists the files from a folder and scans them, then navigates to a child folder and so on, so it counts the files as it scans them.

Hi,

Just to update this thread, starting with Oxygen 16.1 the progress dialog is resizable.
