Hiding oXygen items not part of XML or DITA menu

Hi Team,

This is regarding a query related to hiding items which are not part of oxygen Author eclipse 16.1 XML/DITA menu.

We have used Eclipse mechanisms (http://codeandme.blogspot.ru/2011/09/hi ... n-rcp.html( for hiding the item File-> Open URL, Edit -> Review which are part of Oxygen but not part of XML/DITA menu.

For hiding Edit-> Review option, we have hidden all the inner submenus of Review. But this sometimes making problem . Even after hiding it using pattern binding method, the particular item appears sometimes in the menu (without its submenu).

Please let us know whether any proper ID is for "Review" item or else provide us some way that we can remove it from oxygen eclipse completely.

Hi Shabeer,

So the only problem which remains is the Review menu for which you have managed to hide all of the submenu items.
Unfortunately the "Review" menu we contribute to the Eclipse "Edit" menu does not have an ID explicitly set on it.
We will assign an ID to it for version 17.0.
