Question about DITAVAL styling
This may sound a little dumb but I'm curious as to why (as of 14.2)there was no CSS for the DITAVAL file? While the presentation isn't horrible, it would make sense to eliminate the warning you get and make it style slightly nicer.
Inquiring minds want to know.
Thanks.

The DITAVAL framework for editing DITAVAL files visually in AUthor mode was added only recently because it was not considered a high priority task for previous releases of Oxygen.juliovaz wrote:This may sound a little dumb but I'm curious as to why (as of 14.2)there was no CSS for the DITAVAL file?
I am not sure what warning that is. Do you get a warning while editing a DITAVAL file in Author mode in Oxygen 15.2? What is the warning message?juliovaz wrote:While the presentation isn't horrible, it would make sense to eliminate the warning you get and make it style slightly nicer.
Please give more details about the modifications that you would like to see in the styling of DITAVAL files for editing in Author mode that would make it nicer.

Sorin

Re: Question about DITAVAL styling
Understood. That's why I get a warning about no CSS in Author mode. This actually answers my question. Looks like the message should go away when I migrate to the next version of oXygen (which is not available to me where I'm working presently). I have to use 14.2 for the foreseeable future.sorin wrote: The DITAVAL framework for editing DITAVAL files visually in AUthor mode was added only recently because it was not considered a high priority task for previous releases of Oxygen.

Yes, after an update to Oxygen 15.2 the warning about no CSS for editing DITAVAL files in Author mode will go away. Now you can add flag rules and include/exclude rules in a DITAVAL file in Author mode.
