DITA Webhelp: Ability to Generate Flat Output?
Post by scotmarvin »
Does the DITA webhelp offer any way to generate the HTML files all in the same directory? The webmaster would prefer not to have to write redirects for a structure that now replicates our source directories. (Our previous HTML framework didn't replicate the source directories.)
Thanks,

Re: DITA Webhelp: Ability to Generate Flat Output?
Hi Scot,
Sorry, but we do not have this feature available in our WebHelp generation plugin.
The DITA for Publishers "HTML2" DITA Open Toolkit plugin contain such a possibility to output all HTML files in a flat folder structure but the output is not as refined as our WebHelp plugin, it does not have a search engine or index page.
Regards,
Radu
