Setting Auto-Save Preferences for All Users
We are having some problems with the auto-save preferences, mostly seeming to be user errors where they accidentally turn off or forget to set these preferences, and then have problems when oXygen crashes and they lose data.
We want to do something to ensure that these features are turned on, but I'm not sure how to do it. We are working in a distributed environment, where users all download oXygen and run it via JavaWebStart from a central server. How can I set auto-save preferences, and have those automatically be set for my users when they get a new oXygen instance, without overwriting any other preferences they may have set up?

Re: Setting Auto-Save Preferences for All Users
Hello,
Here's a description of how the Oxygen option layers work:
oXygen User Manual - Configuring Options
While you won't be able to enforce an option on top of the user options (project options can also be modified by the user), you can customize the default options that the user starts with. Oxygen only stores the modified options, so if the user has not explicitly changed these specific options from the Oxygen defaults, then your new customized default options will be applied.
For Java Web Start in particular see the note at the bottom of the page for using customized default options:

Regards,
Adrian
