Changing a task to a topic

I created a task file but I want to change it into a topic file. Is there a way to do that? In Framemaker I could delete the task element and insert the topic element. In Oxygen, it won't let me delete the task element.

Hi Susan,

In the Author mode you have the possibility to rename an element, for example you could rename <task> to <topic> but you would also need to change the DOCTYPE declaration to be the one for a <topic>.
So you will have to switch to the Text mode and make the modifications there. A topic uses another DOCTYPE declaration than a task, you can create a new topic in Oxygen and copy the DOCTYPE declaration from there.
But I also added an improvement request and in a future version of Oxygen we will consider making an improvement to ease such use cases.
