Somehow the program is installed on my computer?
Okay so basically I opened up CCleaner and all of a sudden I see Oxygen XML Editor 14... Now I was like "What's that... I've never seen or heard of it throughout my life!" So I started to worry and then I found out its something to do with Java. I installed Java quite a while ago so could that be the reason? Please I really need your help and am worried for the current state of my computer. Thanks in advance.

Re: Somehow the program is installed on my computer?
Hi,
I'm not sure what you're asking.
If you're asking how come Oxygen XML Editor is installed on your computer, then the only possible answer is "because someone installed it there". You may have installed it yourself and forgot about it or someone else did. Since it's v14, it's possible it was installed up to about a year ago.
Oxygen does depend on Java to run, but that's self contained in the Oxygen installation. However Java is in no other way related to Oxygen.
If you don't need Oxygen, you can uninstall it cleanly from Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. You should also be able to see there the date when it was installed.
Regards,
Adrian
