Editor variable for transformed/input file name

It would be usefull to have editor variable for transformed/input file (name/name without extension) in case of XSLT Transformation.
My scenario: when preparing XSLT file I set XSLT transformation scenario to have XSLT input (of available elements) available. And of course I test stylesheet by applying transformation scenario where I've set "Save as" file name on the Output tab.
Then I change input XML file to continue preparing XSLT with another type of input (I split huge XML file to smaller chunks) – I would like to change only intput name and to have output file name different then in the first case. But now I must change file name manualy; with suggested editor variable this step wouldn't be necessary.
