Code Templates shortcut stops working

I use Code Templates a lot. XML Author 14.2, Mac. I use the default shortcut to invoke Code Templates: Control + Shift + Space.

Several times a day, most days, this keyboard shortcut stops working. The only way I can get it working again is to restart the application.

I tend to work under time pressure, and I am probably doing something to cause this... some keystroke I'm inadvertently hitting in a flurry of typing that disables the Code Templates shortcut. Anybody have any idea what that might be?

If it's in docs somewhere, I'm missing it. It would be great just to be able to hit some shortcut to reanimate the Code Templates shortcut!

We are not aware of such bug in v14.2.
Could you please provide more clues about what operations you've been running in Oxygen prior to the shortcut stopping working?
Do other shortcuts also stop working (e.g. menu shortcuts) or is this (Control + Shift + Space) the only this one?
Are Ctrl + Space or Cmd + Alt + / (Start Content Completion) still working?

On what types of files are you usually working with code templates (XML, XSL, XSD)?
Are you working in Text mode or Author mode?

After it broke, have you tried setting the shortcut key again (or a different one) in Options > Menu Shortcut Keys? Search for 'code templates' in the filter field.

I will try to make some more close observations about whether other shortcuts still work when the template shortcuts quit. Of course now that I posted this, that shortcut will probably work fine from now on.

I'm always working on XML files when this happens. I occasionally edit HTML and PHP files with this app, but 95% is XML (DocBook), working in text mode.

I did not try changing the shortcut key. When this happens it's usually when I don't have time to investigate, and when I would have time for that, it doesn't happen. I'm still thinking I manage to hit some strange key combination without noticing. As I say, I'll try to keep my eyes open and post back here if I can come up with anything that might help you.
