Webhelp update problems
Webhelp update problems
I've been using Webhelp with oXygen 13.2 and I am currently trying to update to version 14.1 (I have custom stylesheets).
The transformation now creates index.html and index_frames.html. I very much prefer index_frames.html because it looks a lot better and it can be localized properly. However, when the transformation is complete, the browser always opens the index.html file. Is there a way to direct oXygen to open index_frames.html instead (without disabling JavaScript)?
Apart from that inconvenience, I also have a real problem. The parameter args.breadcrumbs is set to yes, but there are no breadcrumbs in the output (they used to be there with version 13.2).
Finally I noticed that a Webhelp Mobile version is mentioned in some of the plugin files. Sounds interesting. What is it?
Thanks for your help
Susanne

Re: Webhelp update problems
The breadcrumbs problem is solved, I accidentally deleted the args.hdr parameter.

Hi,
Regards,
Sorin
Just set index_frames.html on the Output tab of the transformation dialog box, that is set the value ${cfd}/out/webhelp/index_frames.html in the Other location text box.susannecm wrote:The transformation now creates index.html and index_frames.html. We plan to add a Mobile output version of the Webhelp transformation in a future version.susannecm wrote:Finally I noticed that a Webhelp Mobile version is mentioned in some of the plugin files. Sounds interesting. What is it?

That is very interesting information.
We will have to create help for mobile devices soon.
Could you tell me a time frame for that?
Thanks

Hi,
A timeframe for the mobile version was not set yet. It will be available probably before the end of the year.
